Solutions Report 2022 with Nordic TSO strategy is published

The Nordic power system is currently undergoing substantial changes towards a net-zero-system. The main drivers are climate change and the pursuit of sustainable growth. Electrification and renewable energy sources are a major climate solution that affects the Nordic electricity system related to power balance, generation adequacy and grid capacity. 

The Solutions report 2022 addresses the challenges and how four Nordic TSOs make a step towards a more sustainable energy system. The report is a continuation of the previous Solutions reports prepared biennially since 2018. The new element in the report is the joint Nordic TSO strategy on how to enable the development of wind and sector integration in the time horizon spanning until 2030. The first joint Nordic TSO measures to implement the strategy are presented in the appendix of the report.
