You will find a specific contact person for each event in the confirmation email you receive after registering.
What information we process, and why and how:
We only register the information about you which we receive in connection with your registration for an event, i.e. your email address, name, company, job title and any supplementary information for use for the individual event.
We only process information for use for holding the event and for subsequent documentation thereof.
When you have registered for an event on our website, we will store your information until the event has been held.
Immediately after you register on our website, you will receive a confirmation email with information about the event, including a contact person and your possibilities of cancelling your registration for the event.
After the event has been held, we will delete all information, with the exception of the information stated in the material prepared for use for the event:
Your name, company and job title will usually appear from participant lists or similar material which is prepared and distributed in connection with the holding of an event. For documentation purposes, any material prepared for the event, including participant lists etc., will be stored in Energinet’s records, including after the conclusion of the event, pursuant to the Danish Act on Energinet (Lov om Energinet) and to the rules on recording set out in the Danish Act on Public Access to Documents in Administrative Files (Offentlighedsloven). This material is disclosed periodically to the Danish State Archives pursuant to the Danish Archives Act (Arkivloven). Similarly, the material may become subject to public access under the Danish Public Administration Act (Forvaltningsloven), whereby information about your name, company and job title may be disclosed to a third party.
Your information will only be processed in countries defined as secure by the EU, e.g. the information will not be transferred to any non-secure countries outside the EU/EEA.
When we process information about you, you have certain rights, which are described below. You can exercise your rights by contacting the contact person mentioned in your confirmation email.
You have the following rights:
• The right to cancel your registration for the event and to withdraw your acceptance. Your email address and other information will then be deleted from our systems.
• The right of access to information about which categories of information we process about you and why (similar to what you may have read above) and the right to obtain a copy of the information.
• The right to have incorrect information corrected.
