New security of supply framework

We want to maintain the high level of seurity that Danish consumers are used to.

OBJECTIVES:

  • In 2020, we have helped to promote Danish, Nordic and European cooperation on the security og supply.
  • In 2020, we have helped to ensure that new players and business models are contributing to a secure supply of energy.

EXAMPLES OF SUCCES:

  • The cooperation in the Nordic RSC on monitoring the electricity grid in the Nordic countries is resulting in more efficient operation of a high level of security of supply.
  • The cooperation with neighbouring TSOs and market players means that the Danish gas system is being used optimally to ensure the security if supply, even when Tyra is closed for reconstruction.
  • The cooperation with Danish and European energy players means that the common European network codes are functioning for the benefit of the green transition and Danish energy consumers.
