The employee's well-being is vital. Therefore, we have a wide range of offers / initiatives that help to make Energinet an attractive workplace.

Work-life balance

It is important for us that our employees enjoy a healthy work-life balance. We therefore offer our employees the possibility of flexible working hours - in consultation with their immediate manager, of course - in an effort to balance the needs of both employee and organisation. 

Outstanding management

At Energinet we take your development seriously, among other things by ensuring that our skilled managers are committed to our personal and professional development. Every second year we conduct an employee satisfaction survey whose purpose it to investigate where we are releative to other Danish companies in respect of our managers. In 2015, the survey for immediate managers was above the national average and wee constantly strive to raise the bar even further.

Development is a core value at Energinet. By holding regular performance reviews, we take Energinet's values literally by creating a space in which manager and employee can assess performance-specific parameters, behaviour and future challenges. We make high demands on your performance and behaviour. We are also committed to challenging you and supporting your development potential. We make sure that you are equipped with the right skills and training so that you can always give of your best.

Health on the job

At Energinet, all employees must be given the opportunity to pursue a healthy lifestyle. The company has therefore introduced a healthy and varied lunch menu and daily fruit scheme. As an employee, you have access to our popular fitness room, which offers individual and group training. Our employees also make frequent use of our table tennis and football tables, both as a form of social activity and exercise.

A social workplace

It means a lot to us that you find your tasks interesting and challenging. However, we also believe that it is important for work colleagues to enjoy social acitivities that are not work-related. We therefore established an active staff association - Gnisten - which organises a wide range of activities over the course of the year to suit every taste and age group. Examples are art association, sports association, trip to Legoland, concerts, skiing holiday, et cetera.

In addition to our staff association activities, Energinet invites its employees to two major party celebrations each year. A summer partyn is held in late August when the entire company gathers for a day of fun, entertaining and challenging activities under hopefully sunny skies. At our December Christmas party all employees across locations meet for a night with dinner and dancing.
