A consultation among shippers on the Danish gas market in November 2018 entailed serious comments regarding the bundled product bundling storage capacity with filling requirements.

We thank all shippers for their comments to the document.

The outcome of the consultation is that Energinet Gas TSO has chosen not to develop the bundled product further as mentioned on Shippers’ Forum last week, 13 December 2018.

The reason for this is the current situation, where the markets valuation of storage and the current storage reservation price differs together with the serious comments received in the market consultation. In that respect, Energinet Gas TSO would like to stress that the intention of the bundled product was not to bridge the gap between the markets valuation of storage and the current storage reservation price.
