Call for comments to new version of Rules for Gas Transport

Energinet Gas TSO now introduces version 18.1 of Rules for Gas Transport. You will find the relevant documents related to the new version linked under documents. The rules are a draft version and we therefore appreciate your comments.
Why change the rules in Spring 2019?
The changes to the new version compared to the old version are mainly related to implementation of the Joint Balancing Zone (JBZ) which is expected to go live on1 April 2019.
The go-live date of JBZ and the new rules are closely related meaning that the rules will expectedly come into effect from 1 April 2019.
Note, that the Danish Utility Regulation (DUR) still has not approved JBZ, which means that the implementation to the rules and when it will enter into force depends on this approval.
Additional changes in this new version of the rules
Besides the updates related to the introduction of JBZ, version 18.1 includes following changes:
- A new Appendix 8 – Data Privacy (GDPR)
- Permanent removal of price caps on the neutral gas price in relation to the daily imbalance quantity
- New price methodology for negative imbalances in crisis level Emergency
- Various minor changes
