The Danish Energy Agency has published a new law proposal regulating the activities of Energinet. The law proposal is in external consultation until 10 December 2019.

The purpose of the law proposal is to introduce a new incentive based economic regulation, and a new planning and investment approval process for Energinet. The intention of the proposal is to increase transparency of the business and investments conducted by Energinet.

The planning and investment approval process will be applied to secure increased transparency on the system development and to secure political support of the investments. 

The Danish Energy Agency will present the main elements of the law proposal and listen to participants’ viewpoints.
