The purchase of natural gas is caused by the need to begin the filling of the EPII Branch Pipeline of Baltic Pipe.

Please note that a second tender will soon be published for acquisition of natural gas to finish the filling of the EPII Branch Pipeline of Baltic Pipe which is to be delivered at the new ‘Entry North Sea’ point from the Norwegian offshore system.

QUANTITY

This call for tender relates to the purchase of natural gas up to 76 GWh.

DELIVERY POINT, DELIVERY DATE AND DELIVERY PROFILE

The natural gas is to be delivered to Energinet either at the storage point (as an in-storage transfer) or at the gas transfer facility (GTF).
For an in-storage transfer of natural gas: The gas is to be nominated in the first hour of the gas day on 1 February 2022.
For transfer of gas at the gas transfer facility (GTF): The gas is to be nominated from 31 January 2022 06:00 to 7 February 2022 06:00 with an equal amount each hour. 

BIDS

This call for tender follows a pay-as-bid principle. No bid in this call for tender must be less than 5,000,000 kWh or more than 50,000,000 kWh.

Bids must be specified in the respective bid sheets for storage transfer or GTF transfer and returned to Energinet via e-mail addressed to noedforsyning@energinet.dk.

If necessary to purchase a specific volume, Energinet is entitled to split a bid. For each bid in the spreadsheet, it is possible for the bidder to indicate whether the bid is an all or none bid or not. By default, the bids are not set to ‘All or None’. To indicate that a bid is all or none, the bid must be marked with ‘Yes’ in the ‘All or None’ column. If a bid is marked with ‘Yes’ in the ‘All or None’ column either the whole volume indicated in the bid will be accepted or the bid will not be accepted at all.

Only when you have received a confirmation by e-mail your bids will be considered. The confirmation e-mail will be submitted to you no later than 15 minutes after the bid submission deadline stated below. Please contact Energinet if you do not receive a confirmation for your bids to be considered.
 
Please note that Energinet needs the gas in storage. In valuation of bids with delivery at GTF Energinet will add injection costs to storage in comparison to bids with delivery at the storage point. 
Energinet reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.

PRICE

To be given in DKK, exclusive of VAT and taxes.

BID SUBMISSION DEADLINE

The bid submission deadline is 26 January 2022 at 12.00 (CET).
Bids must be submitted to noedforsyning@energinet.dk. Energinet will announce the result direct to the bidders no later than 26 January 2022 at 15.00 (CET).
