Energinet System Operator, in its capacity as gas transmission system operator for natural gas in Denmark, wishes to ensure storage filling for the coming winter 2022/2023 in the form of individual filling requirements. Individual filling requirements gives Energinet System Operator back-up of natural gas in the event of Emergency in the Danish gas market.

NB! Please note, the Individual Filling Requirements Agreement has been amended on 6 April 2022. There has only been made amendments to clause 8. The new version of the Individual Filling Requirements Agreement has replaced the former version.

QUANTITY

This call for tender relates to the supply of individual filling requirements up to a total of 1.810 GWh.

DELIVERY POINT, DELIVERY DATE AND DELIVERY PROFILE

The delivery point for natural gas stored by the seller under the terms of individual filling requirements is the storage facilities.

The delivery period runs from 1 May 2022 to 5 April 2023.

The delivery period consists of three sub-periods: an increment period, 1 May to 31 May 2022, a plateau period, 1 June 2022 to 22 February 2023, and a reduction period, 23 February to 5 April 2023.

For the incremental period, the individual filling requirements starts at 50 % of the maximum level and increase linearly from the 50 % to the maximum level. During the plateau period the individual filling requirements are constant at maximum level and during the reduction period, the individual filling requirements decrease linearly to 0.

The minimum level of individual filling requirements in percentage of the contractual quantity for each gas day in the delivery period is listed in Appendix A.

BIDS

This call for tenders follows a pay-as-bid principle. No bid in this call for tenders must be less than 10,000,000 kWh or more than 50,000,000 kWh.

Bids must be specified in the bid sheet and returned to Energinet System Operator via e-mail addressed to noedforsyning@energinet.dk.

If necessary to buy a specific volume, Energinet System Operator is entitled to split a bid. For each bid in the spreadsheet, it is possible for the bidder to indicate whether the bid is an all or none bid or not.

By default, the bids are not set to ‘All or None’. To indicate that a bid is all or none, the bid must be marked with ‘Yes’ in the ‘All or None’ column. If a bid is marked with ‘Yes’ in the ‘All or None’ column either the whole volume indicated in the bid will be accepted or the bid will not be accepted at all.

Only when you have received a confirmation by e-mail your bids will be considered. The confirmation e-mail will be submitted to you no later than ten minutes after the bid submission deadline stated below. Please contact Energinet System Operator if you do not receive a confirmation for your bids to be considered.

Please note that Energinet System Operator will consider alternative options for purchase in the validation of bids. Thus, Energinet System Operator reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.

To be given in DKK, exclusive of VAT and taxes.

Bids must be submitted to noedforsyning@energinet.dk. Energinet System Operator will announce the result direct to the bidders the same day as bid submission deadline no later than at 15.00 (CEST).
