Workshop regarding the EU-Commission’s proposal on gas storage filling requirements

The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) invites you to participate in a workshop regarding the EU-Commission’s proposal on gas storage filling requirements

In light of the uncertainty created by Russia’s attack on Ukraine, the Commission has put forward a proposal meant to strengthen the European security of gas supply by setting mandatory filling targets of 80 pct. In 2022 and 90 pct. in 2023 and onwards.

In order to get the commercial perspective on the consequences of and solutions to the Commission’s proposal, the DEA would like to start a dialogue with those actors affected by the proposal.

Therefore, the DEA holds a workshop regarding the proposal. The workshop will take place on 20 April 2022, from 14.00 – 17.00 in the DEA’s Mødesal, Carsten Niebuhrs Gade 43, 1577 København.

There will be arranged for relevant talks on the proposal and room for discussing its consequences and possible solutions to meet the filling targets.

To register, please send an e-mail with your name and organization to Johan Theil Nielsen (jtnn@ens.dk).

We would appreciate it if you could attend the workshop in person, but participation is also possible via the Skypelink attached to the invitation you receive upon registration.

The final program will follow as soon as possible.
