Balancing prices for the coming gas year is now published

Changes include deletion of the adjustment step 2 price, and the introduction of a hourly balancing obligation, as part of the changes of the gas balancing model towards 1 October 2022.
The changes to the balancing model will be introduced on 1 October 2022, including within-day obligations (WDO´s) as the major add-on to the current model. With the introduction of WDO’s, shippers who are imbalanced in the same direction as the system balance accumulated for all previous hours will be consider as causers, if the system balance is in the yellow zone, and will buy/sell at the hourly balancing obligation price.
