Market consultation on implementation of Congestion Management Procedures (CMP) for the interconnection point ‘Faxe’

With this method application, Energinet propose a continuation of the already implemented CMP mechanism in Denmark, which currently applies to Ellund. The same conditions are proposed to apply to the interconnection point Faxe.

The CMP Guidelines set out requirements in order to achieve non-discriminatory and transparent network access with regard to congestion management procedures.

The CMP conditions that Energinet propose is a continuation of is the following:

  • Oversubscription and buy-back
  • Surrender of contracted capacity
  • Use-it-or-lose-it for long-term capacity
