Yearly capacity auction and gas transmission tariffs from 2024
Please remember the yearly capacity auctions on Monday 3 July and that the tariff period has changed to following calendar years. The tariffs will change with effect from 1 January 2024.
Shippers in the Danish gas transmission system will experience an increase in the transmission tariffs in the coming year with effect from 1 January 2024.
The tariff increase is a consequence of the challenges in the gas market in 2022/23. The reduction in gas consumption, inflation, increasing interest rates and energy prices have been the main drivers for the increase in the gas transmission tariffs.
Compared to the current gas year, the shippers are looking into an increase of approximately 15%, with a capacity tariff at 58.36 DKK/kWh/h/year.
